Who we are and what we do

Maritime, Mining & Power Credit Union (MMPCU) is a member-owned co-operative that has been operating since 1970, serving the needs of its members and their families Australia wide.
We offer a complete range of financial services including savings accounts, term deposits, home loans, personal loans, insurance and financial planning.

Reliance Credit Union and Gosford City Credit Union are divisions of Maritime, Mining & Power Credit Union Ltd (see Our History for more information).

With more than 34,000 members and assets of over $600 million, MMPCU has 26 branches across Australia and  Business Developments Officers covering Metro, coastal, rural and regional areas in NSW and QLD.

We put members before profits. In fact any surplus made is returned to the members by way of lower interest on loans, higher savings and term deposit rates as well as personal service and convenient access, without the excessive fees and charges.

We are dedicated to our members through the communities we serve. In 2009 MMPCU donated over $200,000 to local charities, community events and Industry functions.
